MLS: MLS Cup Contenders

FC Dallas
This team needs to play just their first game on the road, then the rest of the games are to be played at Pizza Hut Park (should they go further). This team also possesses, probably the best offence in MLS, so should their defense falter, their extreme strength in midfield and offense makes up for it.

Houston Dynamo
This team probably has the best defense in the league. Also, Dwayne DeRosario brings a lot to their midfield, as well scoring goals. Mullan and Davis should provide good width, and with Brian Ching up top to finish it, who knows where this team can go.

DC United
The team with the most history in MLS, DC United has probably the best starting 11 currently in MLS. It has two solid strikers (though Eskandarian is carrying a slight injury) and they have an extremely strong midfield with Olsen, Carroll, Gros, Adu and Gomez. And they have a solid back-line and keeper. One problem may be their recent form, managing only one win in their last five games. However, don't count DC United out for winning the double.

Chicago Fire
This team put an unbelievable string of performances, before falling in their last two games. Consistency must come back in order to win , and the fire are capable of doing just that. This is another team capable of doing the double, after their recent success in the US Open Cup Final.

New England Revolution
This team is heating up right on time, with the MLS Play-offs just around the corner. If Clint Dempsey and Taylor Twellman continue their good form, and Matt Reis continues to excel in goal, this team has an extremely good chance of going all the way.
