It's getting closer and closer to New Year, and there has been plenty of action in MLS this off season, and there's bound to be more.
Apparently,Clint Dempsey and Pablo Mastroeni are bound for Europe. Also, there is sure to be more.
RSL have had a pretty busy week, bringing in Nick Rimando, Freddy Adu and Luis Tejeda (so far), and waiving others, like Douglas Sequira. From all the articles I have read, it seems that RSL will get some short term benefits from getting Adu, should he go to Europe this coming summer.
New York Red Bulls are also linked with many possible signings, but right now, they have a goalkeeper problem, with Jon Conway the only keeper. Unless they draft someone good, they'll can get Hartmann form Los Angeles, who is almost guaranteed to loose his job to Joe Cannon. Another option would be Scott Garlick, who finds himself in a similar situation behind Rimando. Also, Columbus have maybe set the record for most Goalkeepers and might want to let one go. Other than that, they will have too look in Europe or in Latin America to find a decent keeper.
On another noteIves Galarcep is reporting that Wanchope is a free agent, and this could be the moment for the Red Bulls to get him.
